MORE is proud to announce a new trail project in Prince William County Virginia!
MORE’s liaison team has been working with the county on plans to transform the trails at this small park along route 95 and next to the Marine Corps Heritage Museum.
Together, we have developed a new trail alignment (currently under final review) that will extend the park’s trails and offer something for riders of all abilities. The plan’s focus is transform the existing trail system into a network of a stacked trails. To achieve this MORE will re-route and convert the existing legacy trails into an intermediate loop, build a new beginner trail and anchor the system with a new advanced trail.
Your support and donations will go directly into helping MORE provide the tools, materials and professional expertise needed for the project. Our goal is to raise $24,000 to offset the cost of the entire project. All of your donations made using this form will go directly into funding this project and help us make it a reality.
Opportunities to volunteer and help with initial corridor clearing and other trail building activities will begin to materialize later this spring and into 2019. We’re also planning other fund raising events to help us reach our goal.
