The Fountainhead Project
A collaborative project between MORE and NOVA Parks
MORE’s successful completion of the Fountainhead Project (FHP) combined with many E-Mails, phone calls, meetings and the support of our partners in the hiking and equestrian communities helped seal MTB access to the Bull Run Occoquan Trail (BROT).
After completion of the Black Loop Project our advanced loop went from 3.93 miles to 7.98 miles. Added to the Green Loop’s 2.2 miles and the Blue Loop’s 4.77 miles it brings the total to nearly 15 miles of grin inducing trails!
Maintenance work on the Fountainhead trails is always ongoing, consider making a donation to help keep one of the most popular Northern Virginia mountain bike stacked trail systems in top shape.
