Description
At the present, there are 12 miles of designated ‘woods road’ open to mountain bikes at the Loch Raven Watershed. The woods roads are old logging roads that now serve as fire roads and utility access roads.
Notes: A proposal has been submitted to Baltimore City DPW to increase the amount of trails designated for mountain bike use. Please visit lochraventrailaccess.com or join loch raven trail users on facebook for the latest updates.
Directions
695 to Dulaney Valley Rd north. Left onto Seminary. Park along Seminary Rd in front of the church. To access the trail, pedal east back along Seminary Rd, crossing Dulaney Valley Rd, proceed 400 yards and enter the fire road at the guard rail on the left. Beware of traffic along Seminary and at the busy intersection with Dulaney Valley Rd.

Trail Length: 12 total. 7 miles 1 way from Seminary at Dulaney to Providence at Loch Raven Drive. There are 2 other short sections of designated fire rd w/in the watershed – a short loop east of Loch Raven Drive & 4m from Jarretsville Pike through to Warren Rd but there is very little parking to access that section.
