What: Casual ride at Elizabeth Furnace
When: Saturday, December 5, 2009 9AM

How: You know how we do.

Joins us for a casual paced, but longish (~23 miles) ride through some of the best trails within an hour of DC. If you've never been to Elizabeth Furnace before, this ride will be a good intro. The trails are fairly technical, so bring your skills, some patience, and maybe some bear repellent (or just make sure you're faster than someone else). We'll hit the extended loop to Woodstock Tower and sample 5 miles of rocky ridgetop goodness. Expect a casual but steady pace and plan to be riding for about 4-5 hours. There's a water-stop midway through the ride.
