Smile The IMBA Trail Care Crew is coming to Virginia April 1 & 2!

The IMBA Trail Care Crew (TCC) Trail Building Workshop is fast approaching. The classes are almost filled. We have only 4-5 spots left in each class. Please send an email to trail-boss@more-mtb.org by wed Mar 30th in make sure you get into the class. The TCC only comes to this area about every 2-3 years so do not miss out on this opportunity to attend one of the best natural surface trail building workshops in the world.

Get your hands dirty and learn how to build sustainable and fun singletrack. The Workshops are filling fast. Send in your request right away. These workshops will sell out. MORE will use events like this to certify Trail Builders and Trail Crew Leaders in the future so do not delay.

Two teams of trail experts travel year-round throughout North America and beyond, leading trailwork sessions, meeting with land managers, and working with IMBA-affiliated clubs and members.

The crew will hold two one-day trail building sessions on April 1st and 2nd.
The school includes three hours of classroom instruction followed by hands-on time in the field learning trailbuilding techniques. Topics include designing a contour trail, controlling water flow, building effective trail structures, urban park solutions, freeride trails, and routine trail maintenance.

The fieldwork will be hands-on trailbuilding, so come prepared.

You'll probably be most comfortable in long pants and a long-sleeved shirt.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring water, snacks, work gloves, sunscreen, and a hat.

If you have any trailbuilding tools--pulaskis, McLeods, rakes, picks, hoes, shovels--please bring them, too.

Registration is $30 and includes lunch and the IMBA Trail Solutions Guide.
