Motivational speaker Stephen R. Covey is walking and talking while recovering from a bicycle accident last week, a spokeswoman said today.

Covey, 79, was cycling at in Rock Canyon Park. Covey went down a hill too fast and flipped forward on the bicycle. Covey was wearing a helmet but it appears to have slipped backward as Covey was falling.
