When: Sunday ,October 2nd, 2011
Time: 9:00 A.M. through 5:00 PM
Where: Elkridge, Maryland, Rockburn Branch County Park, 5400 Landing Road (East Entrance), Elkridge, MD 21075.
Directions: Off of 95N, take Rte 100 East, take Rt 1 North, go about two miles and turn LEFT at traffic light onto Montgomery Rd (Exxon Station on your left). Go 1.25 miles and turn RIGHT onto Landing Rd. Go about one mile and the park entrance is on the LEFT at the bottom of the hill. Enter the park, drive up, keep driving past the concession stand, then on the right go a gravel road up to the overflow parking area. Don't worry, we'll be sure to put up signs!!
What to Bring:
To help work: a flat shovel, work clothes, gloves, sturdy footwear, sunscreen.
To ride the pump track: A safe and functional bicycle with working brakes, and a helmet - also recommend no flip flops/crocs/sandals
Food & Beverage: The International Mountain Biking Association will be providing water and lunch. And of course there will be plenty of CLIF Bars to snack on!
