By accessing the Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts Forum (hereinafter “MORE”, “we”, “us”, “our”, “more-mtb.org”, “http://more-mtb.org”
), you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use the MORE Forum. The MORE Forum administrators and Board of Directors may change these at any time. The MORE Forum administrator will announce changes to the terms of service agreement through special announcements. It is not required but it is recommended to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of the MORE Forum means you agree to be bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
MORE is a 501c (3) non-profit organization representing both its members and the general mountain biking community. We are committed to environmentally sound and socially responsible mountain biking, facilitating recreational trail cycling, educating about the sport of mountain biking, maintaining local trails, and advocating for increased multi-user trail access.
Our efforts require working with stakeholders inside and outside of the mountain biking community. The website, and by extension the Forum, is an important tool for communications and as such, you agree to refrain from posting material deemed detrimental to the Club’s goals. We reserve the right to edit any content which may negatively impact the Club.
The point of moderation is not to limit discussion, promote or suppress points of view, or any other secret agenda. We encourage discussion among all members. The goal of moderation is to keep the forums enjoyable while maintaining the Club’s reputation. The moderators understand that anyone can make a mistake now and then, and they are generally forgiving of minor problems. The most common moderator actions are to correct posts or threads, issue reminders or warnings, and answer questions. Moderators make judgment calls on behalf of the Club members and strive to treat all users fairly and equally under the MORE Forum Rules posted elsewhere.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may would be deemed offensive. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider, if deemed necessary, by us. The IP addresses of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. The MORE Forum administrator and management team have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither the MORE Forum nor vBulletin shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
The MORE Forum, more-mtb.org/forum, is a moderated public forum, dedicated to the interests of the mountain bike community. It is not the responsibility of the Club or forum management to confirm the validity of information posted. Messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the Club.
All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights related to the operation, format, visual elements, and management of the MORE Forum and vBulletin shall remain at all times vested in the MORE Forum or vBulletin. Permission to use any of these elements must be obtained from the MORE Forum administrator.
You shall not use the web site for any illegal purpose. You will use it in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use the web site in a way that may cause the web site to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient or such that the effectiveness or functionality of the web site is in any way impaired.
The content of each post is the property of the author, and may not be copied or distributed without express permission from the author.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the MORE, its Board of Directors, and the Forum administrators and moderators with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s) or the content of any message posted to the forum.
By posting any material, you confirm, represent and warrant that you have the lawful right to distribute and reproduce such material.
Users will be warned and banned based on the severity of infringement of the Terms of Service agreement and Forum rules. Repeat offenses are considered more severe than single, isolated events.
You will not impersonate any person or entity or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
You agree not to repeatedly post the same or similar message ("flooding") or post excessively large or inappropriate images. Any user that violates this rule will be issued a warning.
Postings to the MORE Forum become public information. You should be very careful about posting personally identifiable information such as your name, address, telephone number or email address. If you post personal information online, you may receive unsolicited messages from other users in return.
Each member is responsible for only his or her own posts. If another member breaks rules, you may ignore them or report the problem to the moderators, but you may not use it as an excuse to break rules yourself.
The MORE Forum is not the place for arguments over local, state, or federal politics or politicians, discussions on religious beliefs and their credibility, or explicitly sexual posts of any type. Any posts the moderators decide violate this rule will be immediately removed and the author will be issued a warning.
Any posts containing non-mountain biking related goods for sale (spam) will be immediately removed and the user will be permanently banned at the discretion of the management team.
User signatures are subject to the same rules as general forum posts.
No user shall create multiple MORE Forum member accounts. Any user who violates this rule will have their newest account deleted and will be issued a warning.
The MORE Forum management team reserves the right to alter these rules at any time without notice.
The MORE Forum management team is responsible for enforcing these Terms of Service in a fair and just manner. Decisions by the moderators on the suitability of any post, and on the actions taken as a result, will be final.
