That sounds like a great race to me.
I crashed on the 495 side of the powerlines. my sprocket put a 5"x1"x1" hole in the back of my leg. I had to jog to the finish line and take a meat wagon ride to the ER. i now have 30 stitches - 15 under the skin, 15 in the skin. it took an hour to get sowed up. I'll do better next year.
