Well, this update may prove moot after tomorrow’s rain, BUT - here it is.

Wakefield was in great shape. There is a tree down on the non race course section of the stream valley trail. On the Grid Map it's probably F4. (It's just past the dip if you were heading from the Accotink side of the CCT and heading towards the Race Course.

Accotink was also in good riding shape but covered in deep leaf litter. That low area where the streams all come together was especially deep in leaves. I got kind of wigged trying to find a place to cross.

I got kind of wigged trying to find a place to cross.I slowed down to poke through the stream behind the marina--if I went slowly I wouldn't spray up the water and soak my thighs and heiny. There were leaves floating on the water and it turns out there was a hole in the bed, and the water was deep. My front wheel fell and and I stopped. I got my tootsies wet, but it was OK.

The tree was a bit of a surprise on the creek trail of WF, but at least it wasn't sudden enough to cause catastrophe.

Is the map you're referring to posted in the gallery? It would be handy to have that in a central place.
