FYI for any Fountainhead riders for Sunday:

Race #3 of the BYB starts at 0900. 350 racers + staff + volunteers + spectactors.

Expect upper lot parking to be at a premium starting around 8am.

Yup, saw them setting up today.

Trails are in decent condition - a few easily avoided soft spots (slightly rutted - but just by a few). You're on your own for the slippery leaves, though . . .

EX2 took a leaf blower and cleared 4.4 miles of running trails of leaves. Apparently they were inches thick and hiding all the roots and rocks.

As it was, even with cleared tails the volunteer paramedics still had their hands full with all the twisted ankles and lacerations from falls.
