I have decided to pare down my inventory of junk, collected as a shop rat and general cyclophile. I have a real problem with throwing out anything, so some of this stuff is pretty close to dumpster-worthy, but maybe you have a use for it.
I will be updating this as people contact me, and adding pictures once they process. I am at Wakefield most Thursdays and some Tuesdays. PM me. Cool.
Off a 1976 Raleigh Grand Prix:
- English threaded, cottered bb and cranks. BB in great shape, chrome about 90% intact, with matching clip-compatible platform pedals - FREE
- Huret downtube friction shifters and rear derailleur, not great in shape - FREE
- Weinman Vanqueur brake and lever; pads good - FREE
- 10-speed chain, in good shape - FREE
Other stuff:
-Shimano 600 6spd freewheel, good condition - FREE
- Incomplete Profile Designs Century aero bars and assorted parts. You may be clever enough to make this a complete aero bar . . . - FREE
- Brand new Profile Designs aero drink system - 1 BEER (surprise me)
- 10oz. 10wt suspension fluid - FREE
- 1/2 bottle Pedro's Ice Wax - 1 BEER
- Micro-matic domestic keg tap - $20
- Shimano R-535 road pedals, never used, no cleats - $10
- Vuelta 172.5 square taper crank (orig. triple) with 36t ring, been bashed once or twice and may not be perfectly round, but okay for "tasting the Koolaid" - FREE
- Black plastic front fender, requires a center-drilled fork, doesn't play nicely with V-brakes - 1 BEER
- Selle Royale Shark gel road saddle with ti rails - 1 SIX PACK
- Mongoose stock saddle, has a sligh tear and is pretty beat, maybe for a beater bike??? - I BUY YOU A BEER AND LISTEN TO YOUR TROUBLES
- 1 1/8 threaded HS, steel, starting to pit but salvageable - FREE
- Ti Cycles beanies (4), new, snazzy orange and black - POST A PICTURE OF YOUR 24-hr RACE TEAM WEARING THEM (on your honor)
- Avid AD-3 levers, seen a crash or two :) - FREE
- Avid SD-3 brakes, pads pretty much worn out - FREE
- Avid SL brake levers, new in box - $45, can't budge too much here :(
- 2002 Jamis Comet road frame, fork and extras:
57 cm, 7005 series triple-butted aero aluminum tubeset, standard road geometry, graphics painted on, good to very good shape, approx. 2,000 miles in it. A few cosmetic nicks from errant rocks and careless cleats but still a sleek and unusually fast frame. With Reynolds Ouzo Comp carbon fork, Cane Creek ZS headset, 3T Forgie stem, carbon aero seatpost, and Selle Italia XO saddle. Asking $400.
