all the arrows are up for the Monster Mash Race this saturday. People will be pre riding the course. I would highly recommend you ride in the direction of the race arrows and suggest the same to anyone riding the other direction. Riding both directions at night with lights should not be a problem.

We saw a bunch of them on the Tues night ride. I find some of the locations of the arrows pretty funny, like one spot in Phase I the arrow points down the trail. The only other options are to run right into the hillside on the right, or go off the edge (literally) of the built up trail to the left.
Note I am not complaining, as far as I'm concerened there can never be too much course marking...

In a completely unrelated matter, the race markings from the high school XC run are still up. Did they paint them on? Or is it water-soluble markings and only still up due to no rain?

Every F'ing year they PAINT the dam things on.
Grrrrrrr.........................
Sorry, it's just that we are so careful when we put up signage for our races and we still get complaints. Then the HS kids do this and everybody thinks it's cute.......
