Does anyone have a headset press and/or race remover (the springy thing you pull through the headtube) that I could borrow for a day or two?

Two of my friends and I are pooling parts to build up a donated hardtail frame for friend who needs a new ride. We are attempting a late (all?) night build Friday night, and those are the only tools we are in need of (or so we think now).

Major karma credit for anyone who helps, plus I'll send a picture of our deserving friend when he gets his "new" bike (it's a surprise to be bestowed at Douthat in a few weekends).

I'm in Northern Virginia Reston/Tyson's area, and will provide a deposit if you so desire.

Thanks to anyone who can help!!!

PS- Yes, I know I can do it with jury-rigged tools (all-thread etc.), but I would prefer the foolproof method.

If you just need to pull a race and press in a headset then I could bring my tools to one of the Wakefield Tue/Thu night rides and we could knock it out in the parking lot in 10 minutes before the ride starts. I also have a race setter if you need to put a new race in position on the fork.

You would just need to throw the frame and fork in your car.
