Great race bike! Carbon frame. Light and stiff with efficient suspension. Excellent geometry and handling. Effective top tube length is 23.4" (594mm). The bike is in very good to excellent condition. No cracks or other structural damage. Pivots are tight. Mechanically it is in excellent shape, it was kept clean and well-maintained throughout the time I have owned it. The bike was used for XC only, it was never ridden in a manner that it was not designed for, i.e., no drops, DH/freeride-type stuff, or even really technical XC trails. I rode it about 100 hours; I don't use a computer so I don't know how many miles/kilometers that is.
Supply was limited on these so if you wanted one here's your chance!
Component highlights:
* Shimano XTR M970 cranks, brakes, derailleurs, and trigger shifters; this is the new stuff for '07 and it rocks!
* Mavic Crossmax SLR wheels (less used than the rest of the bike because I ran different wheels most of the time)
* Fox F80X fork (80mm travel) and RP23 shock (3.5" travel)
* Easton Monkey Lite carbon bar, EC70 carbon stem and seatpost
* Fizi:k Gobi Ti saddle
The bike is stock except for the cassette (Shimano XT 11-34) and tires (Maxxis Larsen TT UST). I also replaced the front valve stem with a Stans No Tubes valve stem. Note that the stock stem is not pictured, but will be included in the sale.
