Hi, new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone had seen the way the Michigan Mountain Bike Assoc reports its trail condictions. They have a very slick interface that allows trail "owners" to update conditions in real time.

Anyone familiar with php would be able to implement this. I mess around a bit with php.

Wantto help me implement it? If I had the time right now I'd give it a shot, but grad school and work have me totally bogged down...

Contacte me off-line if you're willing... my eMail is my handle at this domain.

It's a cool site, and seems well set up, but, who's gonna be responsible for making the reports and ensuring some sort of consistency...

with a fully volunteer organization like MORE. To be fair, MMBA is a statewide organization with a PAID Adminstrator with incredible web skills. MMBA is a model that many MTB Clubs try to mirror every day. When we can, we use their ideas and implement them. Our soon to be on-line member database is a perfect example. If anyone has skills that can be used to make our website more informative, we are always looking for help. We do have certain policies in place that keep our website pretty consistent. We have Trail Liaisons for all of our trails and they can be empowered to keep their trail system status "honest". So if you want to help, contact Martin directly
