hi, I am really confused about what kind of adaptor do i need. i have LX hydro brakes on a lefty and i want to upgrade from 160mm to 180mm. i know i have IS mounts however do i need IS to IS, post to IS, IS to post? heres the website i was looking please let me know what kind is the right one for a 180mm convertion. thanks http://chainreactioncycles.com/Categories.aspx?CategoryID=563

probably easiest to start with the 2 brake mounting types: IS = mounting bolts parallel to axle. Post mount mounting bolts perpendicular to axle (ok, so they aren't in the same plane so they are skew, but... well they aren't parallel).
I believe most shimano brakes these days are post mount with an adapter for IS, but double check what's on there now.
