This year's Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day celebration falls on Oct. 6. Register your ride and you'll be eligible to win one of 10 Schwinn mountain bikes. CLIF Bar will once again supply kid-friendly energy foods, and Trips for Kids is available as a resource to help plan your event. Join in the fun and help introduce the next generation to knobby-tired recreation.

just havent registered with IMBA yet. !0:30 accotink, 2:30 fort dupont we have bikes if any MORE member have local kids they would like to take riding (with thier parents permission contact volunteer@tfkmetrodc.org if you would like to borrow a bike or join us for the rides.

Every Monday is take a kid mountian biking day, here in northern Virginia! Check the ride calendar - we just had our third in a row this week. This is an official MORE ride and is, therefor, open to all.

Trips for Kids will be leading thier 76 and 77th ride of the year on Oct 6 Take a Kid Mt biking day. All are welcome. The 10:30 ride will be at Lake Accotink and will include lunch. The 2:30 ride will be at Fort Dupont and will include a nice snack. Bikes and helmets are available to borrow with prior notice.

There were 34 people on the Take a Mtbing day at Accotink! It was a great time. Thanks Trips for Kids for making it a great event. :)
