Has anyone ridden Twin Creeks in Leesburg off of the W&OD? Can you share some details on length, best way to get there, what it is like, how long it takes to get around (I usually ride Fountainhead in 55 min and Colvin run in 45 min for reference)? Also if there are any maps out there or ride descriptions that I missed in my google search I'd love to be pointed in the right direction.
Thanks

ThanksIs that the name of that little bitty bit of mountain biking trail between Rt 28 and Leesburg? If so, I rode it once and didn't bother to go back. It wasn't very long. They had another trail that was longer just for horses, but they didn't allow bikes.
Of course, I once told someone I didn't think too much of the Cub Run trails, and then he posted how wonderful he likes them, so I guess to each his own. But I think it would be an extreme letdown if you compared it to Fountainhead. I haven't been there in years, but if you do FH in 55 minutes, I'd guess you could do the little trail system off the W&OD in maybe 8? As I recall, there were no obstacles, not much in the way of hills, just some really smooth singletrack. It wouldn't be bad, except that it's hard to get your mountain bike to it unless you ride your knobbies on the pavement for a long way. Or you could probably just ride your slicks on the singletrack.
