Friday, August 24, Noon-4 pm, in cooperation with Lake Accotink Park’s Camp Raven Quest –Volunteers Needed!!
A sustainable substitute trail will be created to replace the fall line drop after the Carleigh parkway paved trail. The fall line trail is seriously degraded and unsustainable. Recently an unapproved second fall line trail was created running parallel to the first. After this date the fall line trail will no longer be available blocked by a fence at the top and rerouted from the bottom. Contact volunteer@tfkmetrodc.org if you are willing to assist on Friday or if you have questions or concerns.
