I get all kinds of requests from forum users on a regular basis, and, more often than not the answer is in the FAQs.

I'm just curious - does anyone read them?

please let me know; after you vote let me know what I can do to make them more accessible and easier to understand. Not that I don't like to get all of your emails, I just want to make sure you have all of the information close at hand so that you can solve your issues without having to wait for my lazy ass to get back to you...

If there is something not covered in the FAQ's, or which you think can be written better do not hesitate to tell me.

I'm one of those "There's FAQs" people. When I saw your poll, I then had to hunt them down. Nope, not a sticky in the Pit. Homepage... nope. No link there. Quicklinks. I'll bet they're there. Nope. MORE News? No. Well, it's not gonna be the MORE Store, I didn't see them as a sub-forum anywhere in the forums. Not the gallery, Member pages, My Profile, Memers, Calendar, Search. Hey, there are more FAQs, what about the primary FAQs? Oops :o That's MORE FAQs.

I'm just one stuck-in-a-rut kinda gal, but I think you need to make the FAQs more prominent. Maybe add a few more links to them sprinkled here and there in the site.

Cool - I added a link to the faq in the forum landing page; hopefully that helps drive more traffic to it.

FYI - the direct link to the FAQ is on the actual Nav Bar - you can also see it here:

If you don't see something that should be there let me know...

Cool - I added a link to the faq in the forum landing page; hopefully that helps drive more traffic to it.Is that at the very bottom? People might not scroll down to there as much as you'd like, IMHO.

I also think it would be great to have a link in the Quick Links!

Thanks for thinking of us!!!! :)

Yeah, at the bottom is kinda hard to see. It would be nice to have it somewhere more prominent (probably at the top).

It seems that the forum is increasingly becoming the way people interact with MORE. Give that, it might be nice to create a comprehensive "guide" link and put it at the top. Within that guide could be links to the more popular features for newbies (FAQ, "where to ride" section, calender, plugs for upcoming trailwork, etc.).

I fully agree with Jabber and SG - the Forum FAQ should be the first thing you see when you hit the "Forums" tab. It should be on the top and it should read "Forum FAQ".

The "MORE FAQ" forum, linked by the button on the front page is currently a collection of club FAQs and forum FAQs. I would recommend separating them into two FAQs. The one accessible from the tab bar on the front page should, indeed, be club FAQs, or even more useful, move the "About MORE" button to where the "MORE FAQ" link is and then hang the club FAQ link on the "about" page.

So you have Forum FAQs appearing where you go look at forums and club FAQs appearing where you go look for club info. Makes sense to me, anyways. :)

Per recommendadions I have added a link at the top of the forums landing page to the MORE FAQ - please let me know if this is useful...

Again, if there is something there you think should be and is not please don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks for all of the feedback...

Hey Mr. Big Head! Good to see you. I like your new avitar.

I confess. I lied. Right after I clicked "There's a faq?" I remembered that I not only knew there was a FAQ, but have used it on more than one occasion. I hang my head in shame.

I will add this, that there is a much better source of information about EVERYTHING important that you could EVER want to know about MORE. You can find that by clicking on THIS (http://www.more-mtb.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1223) link.

Thanks for all your hard work Martin. I hope all is going well with you.
