MORE Picnic set up, food prep and clean up help needed

The MORE picnic is scheduled for July 21 at Riverbend Park at 1pm. We expect a large turn-out and could use some help with the food prep and clean up. This is a great way to meet a lot of MORE members, and possibly learn the secret ingredients in Scud Fries.

If you can help out for even an hour or two, it would help us spread the work out. Please either respond to this post or contact Teri (teribemis@hotmail.com) if you can help.

The picnic is combined with a work day at Riverbend. Both are posted on the home page (at least for now). If you can work in 1-2 hour increments from 12:30 on to help cook, prep food, and clean up that would be great.

Hey, how 'bout a little info here so we can know about ride schedules and work schedules. I would probably do some volunteering, but I also want to ride, as I haven't been doing much recently.

When are the rides, and when is the volunteering? Surely we can do both??? :D :confused:

The Picnic is being done after the workday. Information on that is on the homepage. Here is the info from the article on the Homepage "Trail Work Day--VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Saturday, July 21 from 8:30-1 PM at Riverbend Park

We will be working to improve and finish the new route around the Woodland Scour area. It is imperative that we get this trail in good, safe working order so that we can close down the current trail that runs through an environmentally sensitive
area. We need a lot of volunteers and enthusiasm.

MORE will prove the hard work and fun times!

We will have a ride or two after the picnic but riding is not the emphasis this time. We may do a little BikeLimbo or Frizbike instead.

Thanks for the additional info. That helped a lot. I had no idea it was combined with the trailwork day.

I sent an email to volunteer. I try and and do the trailwork first, then do what I'm assigned wrt the pic-a-nick.
