... Im leaving for atl in just under 2 weeks and would like to see something happen here. The last time i checked there were issues with waivers? Is there any way we could get some ride set up so i can see the outcome of jake and my "wouldnt it be cool if more had a...." game in the car. We first started talking this out with the MORE board at douthat and we are still waiting for the go ahead for having a ride due to waiver issues. I appologize if this sounds alittle bit cranky, i dont mean to be bagging on anybody but i fear if nothing gets said then this group will not take off and will die off when it has so much potential.

What waiver issue are you referring to? We have new ones that are supposed to be signed before each ride. We haven't had any issues with Jake and the Thursday Schaeffer ride. I'm confused. :confused:

I heard we were waiting for waivers for the rides to start. Im confused now too.

Yeah, Jake keeps telling me there is some Waiver issue too. So, yeah. Anyway, I think I'll be cleared to ride from the doc this weekend. Possibility of early Patapsco ride Sunday?

I will check on Monday with the insurance guys but I don't think there is an issue. We have the same insurance for our shops junior team as MORE has for the club. As long as a gaurdian signs the waiver and the child signs the waiver it is as good as any other waiver......

I found out that MORE is covered for leading youth rides. However, riders should be a MORE members. They can either be an individual member or have a fmaily membership. Just make sure the waiver is signed by the parent or gaurdian. And I would also ask for a emergency contact number- just in case.
