Power Mowing at Schaeffer

Notice the grass is getting a bit long on the yellow loop? Want to help do something about it? Schaeffer yellow and red loops need to be mowed 2-3 times a year. The park has a new self propelled walk behind mower, on a trailer that can be hooked up to any vehicle with a hitch and driven out to the yellow loop. Takes about 4-5 hours all told including picking up the mower. This is a 2 person job, I am looking for a volunteer to join me this Sunday morning. I can pick up the mower and gasoline. Dave, I can not help this weekend. But if you ever want help during the week, let me know. I have an SUV with Trailer hitch, and my office is about 10 mins from the trails.

I can't help this Sunday either, but, I can lend a hand with the next mowing. I have a hitch as well on my SUV and can drag it where ever it is needed.

Depending on the time you will be out there I can join you. I have to be at work at noon.

On Monday our team of three (thanks Steph and Matt), plus two of my children, managed to clip and thresh from where the blue crosses the gravel road back to the four way before the gnats got to us.
