Where: Cedarville State Forest, (directions here: http://www.more-mtb.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1207)
This will be a very beginner-friendly ride; the trails at Cedarville are a perfect entry into riding off-road, while providing some challenge to riders with more experience. We will have one group and the pace will be casual, with a couple of stops for working on skills.

Particulars: Most rides are beginner-friendly, but are geared toward women who have at least a little mountain biking experience. Some rides are for more experienced riders. Please check the RideLikeAGirl website (http://www.ridelikeagirl.org) for information on trails and recommended skill levels. Rides are expected to last from 60 to 120 minutes. Depending on the size of the group, smaller groups will be formed on the basis of skill level and interest.

All riders MUST wear a helmet, bring water, and have a trail-ready bike. Riders should also carry the usual basics: spare tube(s), a pump, tire levers, a chain tool, and basic allen wrenches.

Please reply if you're planning on attending.

Hi Liz:

I will be there and I am bringing my best friend. She's just bought a bike and has gone with me a once in Cedarville. We tried Rosaryville, but she wasn't quite ready yet and riding with our boyfriends can be intimidating for her. I am hoping this will be a great way for her to learn and meet some new girls to ride with. We'll see you on Saturday morning at 10am :)

We meet in the parking lot at the payment kiosk (there is a user fee for this park, $3 for MD residents, $4 for non-residents.)

See you there, Liz

I'll plan on meeting up too.

I'm not really a beginner, but this will be my 3rd clipless pedal ride, so I feel like a newbie.

Thanks for the great time Liz. Jen was beginning to think that she'd never like biking, but after our spin around Cedarville she has renewed her interest! She told everyone how cool all the girls were and how much fun she had. Woot! :)
