So, my DVDs finally came in the mail today, and I have to say... Despite what others have said about Kranked 6 having crappy music and not being as good as Roam, I REALLY liked it. I actually thought it was just as good as Roam. I liked how they didn't feel like they HAD to include the standard DJ section and Trials/Street section. Not that I don't dig on that stuff sometimes... But it seems like most movies these days HAVE to follow that recipe... Almost like a porn movie, and their obligatory scenes. :-D
Anyway, I also liked how the movie was a little less artsy-fartsy and had a bit of a lighter feel. Some parts were even a little funny. One additional thing I liked, was that they showed a couple of the guys having "off days" and even mentioned that one dude had broken his ankle and leg during the shooting. It kinda makes you realize that these guys ARE actually human after all.
As far as the music goes, I didn't mind it. I'm not a music critic by any means, but the music didn't turn me off of the movie. I thought it fit right in.

So, in conclusion... I give Kranked 6 - Progression, two thumbs up!

If anyone wants to come over and watch it after a Wednesday night Patapasco Freeride Ride, I'll provide the beers and popcorn.

Usually a few minutes of all the nasty falls the skaters took making the video. You frequently see them breaking bones and taking other nasty injuries. I've often wondered why you don't see something similar in bike vids. Maybe slams aren't considered a badge of honor like they are in the skateboarding community. :)

Anyway, agreed on Kranked being a great video. I like how each riders section is structured as a single run. And maybe I'm weird, but I enjoyed the music too.

Kranked 6 was my first recent "sports" video. It came bundled with Kranked 5 and a street BMX video.

I enjoyed 6 the most of the three. The single-rider, single-ride format was neat - it felt a bit more structured than other videos that sometimes seem like compilations of random segments of rides.
