Bike Friday...

Ha- I'm finally executing on a Bike Friday Acquisition! I've been traveling quite a bit and having a hard time finding cycling hours...

I pinged this Forum a long while back and have been snooping around the folding bike option for awhile. I visited Vienna Bikes to test ride the midget platforms and was impressed w/ the bikes (but not w/ the shop- I had a terrible experience)...

Anyway, should get the ride before I go on Vacation and will post detailed updates and reviews. Going w/ the Pocket llama...er, orange of course.

That being said- I'll be partsing out my Surly Cross Check and big bike commuter gear (got some money pannier bags) and what not...gotta wait until the Friday comes in cause I'm towing the midgets all over w/ the surly...

There will be a Ravensworth Community Yard Sale at the corner of Inverchapel and Braddock road (er, across the street from Wakefield) - I'll be selling all kinds of gear, cheap...will post list if you are interested, get some great gear and a ride in...

Cool Beans- I was thinking of a BF Tandem down stream, seems like a bit easier to port around. I saw one on the WO&D (Green) and it was purty nifty looking.

I don't get it until the end of May. Just dropped the Credit Card info like 2-mins ago! I'm purty excited, I'm surprised I don't see more of these BF or midget bikes around. Seems like the perfect commuter. I even got it w/ Disc Brakes- ha, ha!

Hey, I don't plan on bringing a bike this Saturday- plan on hiking everywhere...

More details later...test rode it around the block- really custom made for my fatty arse...per the pic, wheel base is close to my 29er, thus the decent handling/performance...
