This is a question for any LBS workers trolling the forums - which shops around here carry Cannondale?

Bike Time in Bel Air...kinda far for you. I know Bike Doctor in Linthicum does too. What are you looking at?

Hey Craig,
This was well over a year ago, but the then new REI in Rockville had some C'dales...

However, just went on REI's website, and they do not list C'dale as one of their brands...

craig,
REI in bailey's and fairfax corner both stock cannondales. LBS wise, plum grove in leesburg and washington bike center in fair lakes. i don't know of any shops in alexandria stocking them.

Contes in Arlington carries Cannondale, as does City Bikes.

Cool - thanks! I might go check out Contes because it's closest. I'm looking at the Badboy Ultra.

I bought my Cannondale Prophet at the REI Bailey's store. Fairfax REI also has Cannondales. Incidentally, I am very happy with the mechanics at REI. They have hooked me up repeatedly.

Cannondales (for the most part) will not show up on the REI website.

Plum Grove Cyclery out in Leesburg also carries Cannondale.

Cannondale had a trailer full of demo bikes at the Leesburg Bakers Dozen race this past Saturday.

REI Rockville carries most models, will order deluxe kits. See Dan. Over the past couple of years he's provided great service, upgrades despite my abuse.

CityBikes is also a dealer.

I bought my Rush from Roger at Blackwater Bikes in Davis, WV. Great small dealer "in the middle of it all" familiar to the mtb scene. Will deal. Thursdays locals ride is Plantation Trail! Will help with maps, routes throughout wild Canaan Valley.

I'm actually probably looking for something for street use. The doctor thinks something more upright would be better for my back, and I don't want to give up too much speed / efficiency.

So maybe something like the Road Warrior? It has adjustable stem and rigid fork and suspension seatpost I believe.

I'll have to look at that one, too. I like the Headshok on the Badboy, and I have a Rock Shox post I can pull of my hartail if the seat tube on the 'dale is the right size.

Both City Bikes shops carry Cannondale, but I don't know if either of them have that model in stock. Mike might chime in with their inventory.

I bought my Cannondale and Specialized at City Bikes, would highly recommend.

I think I bought my last Cannondale at the Adams Morgan location back around 1996, when the Ben & Jerry's was still next door... LOL
