Reminder - RLAG Shed Ride 4/28

Just a reminder that there's a Ride Like a Girl (http://www.ridelikeagirl.org/) ride scheduled at the Frederick Watershed on Saturday 4/28 @ 10:00 sponsored by The Bicycle Escape (http://www.thebicycleescape.com/). We will be meeting at the Hamburg Rd. parking area and plan to have wheels down at 10:15.

If you're an intermediate rider but you've been too intimidated to join one of the MORE rides at the Shed the casual ride I'm leading is for you! We'll be riding at a casual pace and regroup as needed. We'll also stop to play on some of the more technical sections.

Shannon will be leading a moderate paced ride for those of you who feel comfortable on the rocky terrain and would like a faster pace.

Thanks for clarifying this Liz!

There are showers forecasted on Thursday and Friday. The Shed holds up pretty well and as long as we don't receive a heavy down pour we should be okay to ride on Saturday. I'll post the status of the ride on Friday evening.

There was plenty of rain in Frederick last night. RiderX and I will check the trails tonight after work. Depending on the condition of the trails the ride may need to be canceled or the location changed to the yellow loop at Gambrill which is much rockier than the Shed. Stay tuned!

Woohoo! We checked the trails and while they are a bit damp they are firm and not muddy! :D

BTW - Disco Cowboy has added a RLAD (Ride Like a Dude) ride for any guys who want to ride. His ride will be moderate/fast pace. http://www.more-mtb.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=632&c=2

Fantastic ride on Saturday! We had 11 people between the two rides. Everyone on the casual ride tried at least one thing that they were challenged by! Nice riding by all!

Huge thanks to DKEG, Brizn and everyone who was out the week before making sure all of the fallen logs were cleared out for our ride! You're the best!!!!! :D
