Does anybody make a 1", non-suspension-corrected fork with disk brake mounts?
I'd like to convert my old Stumpjumper (I think it's a 94, which I assume was pre-suspension) to disc. It currently has one of the Kona P2 forks.
Of course, maybe it's not a 94, or came with suspension. Blah. Anybody know where I could find out? It's dark red, Prestige chromo tubing, built in Japan, if that helps.

Not many options other than custom. I think your best bet might be Spicer, they may have a production fork.

i checked spicer's website and did not see a production fork as described. he could fabricate one for you, but it may wiser to have him put a new headtube on your frame instead. gene's a nice guy and does pretty decent work.

I think Nashbar had one back in the Fall, but it is not on their website now. Might be worth calling their tech line.
They do have a suspension fork for $100. RST Omega T6 80mm Suspension Fork - 1” Steerer

Thanks for the info guys. I'll try contacting some of the shops to see what they can do.
Worst case, I leave the bike as is (which really is adequate) and start saving for something modern (can't have too many toys).

Several available. Any bike shop can order one for you.

They can? I asked at BikeLane and A-1 and neither could find one in their catalogs. Plenty of 1", non-disk, or 1.125" with either brake, but no 1" disc.
