On the section between the red barn and the whoop de doos check out several beaver gnawed trees. I guess that's what they are anyway, cone shaped with wood chips spread around the base of the tree. One tree is actually blocking the trail so look out for it. The chew pattern is really cool looking and would probably make a good close up black and white photo.
Black Hill is in good shape this morning, ride it! Heads up if you ride in on the paved trail from Crystal Rock Dr. look for a downed tree just after the first turn.

The tree has fallen toward the trail; passable yet clean up might be needed.

Thanks, I called the number - they took the work order.
Also, there is a downed tree on HMC, Hoyles Mill Trail, near the Soccerplex. This tree is on the trail and very near to the first shallow water crossing - not to be confused with the larger water crossing on Hoyles Mill Road.

There are also several beaver dens in the lake.
