M.O.R.E. leads a Watershed XC ride every so often.. If you're int'd, tag along on one of those to learn the main trails, off of which all the freeride trails branch. Otherwise, just take a full bag of h2o, some food, a compass, and spend a saturday out there earnin' it, yo. :D :cool:

It might still be pretty soggy up there after all the snow last week. Any Frederickians (Frederickites?) been up there this week?

Apparently there's standing water on sections of the trail going both north and south from Hamburg road. No idea what it will be like by the weekend however.

I live and work in Frederick, so I guess I *have* to be a Fredneck. Gawd, I hate that, 'Frederickans' sounds just so 'continental' .... anyway, the snow is just diappearing around town, and I am sure the shed is still pretty sloppy, although I havent actually gone up to look. I know JoeW ... riderx went up last night to look around, he will probably chime in.

I can't give a report on the Shed, but Gambrill looked fine. Almost all snow was gone yesterday evening and the trails looked pretty dry.

The parts of the Shed north and especially south of Hamburg tend to hold more water though.
