Since the sign is obviously wrong in reporting the trail conditions :eek: , I'm not sure you can believe the rest of what it says!

oops now I have to do something to it. It's been like that for a couple months now and never dropped, so I was too lazy to fix it. :)

It was solid, you could drive a car on top of it and leave no trace.

LOL! I like how everyone now suspects some sort of "Photoshop" image. They scrutinize every aspect of a photo when it is simply that, just a photo. Stop over analyzing everything you see on the internet and just enjoy it...Hahaha! :rolleyes:

Yeah, I too was out riding recently and although it looked like snow, it was actually accumulated ice granuals that were solid as a sheet of ice. Yes, and it was possible to drive a car on it and leave no trace...It soon turned to slush though and was like riding through a 7-11 slurpy!

What are the trail conditions at Schaeffer? And is it open?

I'll run the Greenway Trail Marathon tomorrow, Sat. March 3rd. Scouting reports of the Greenway trail, Upper and Lower, show it's snow packed and icey in some portions. The tree cover hasn't allowed the sun to melt the snow and ice on some sections. Yaktraxs should do the trick.

I agree. Love it.
