I am hoping Schaeffer might be rideable Saturday morning, but it depends on how much crusty sodden snow y'all got. Any intel?

Thanks, Shannon

We had quite a bit snow/sleet here last night. I tried my bike today on the sidewalk - couldn't go more than 10 feet :(. Anyway I'll swing by Schaeffer Friday evening (if it's still open) and check out the conditions.

Most excellent, I will await your verdict.

I went to Schaeffer this afternoon. The gravel road leading to the parking lot was covered by the smooth crust so it's pretty much off limit to vehicles right now.

Sheaffers open? I might go for a snow ride then. The snow in my area has solidifyed and i can ride no problem and i can corner with a bit extra pizaz without dying.

The gate was still open as of this afternoon, and I don't think any riding can do harm to the trails right now. You'll have to find a nearby parking place and ride in, though. The only lot open is probably the one outside the Aquatic center. And be prepared, it won't be a snow ride, more like an ice ride.

Ive been riding for 3 hours so i figured out my tires limits on the hard stuff today. I can go fast just cant turn very sharply. Maby one lap of the white loop will be enough (especially on a singlespeed)
