My sunglass frames broke (cheap Performance crap) and I'm looking to get a better pair of shades. They don't have to be new, just in good shape. I'm looking for at least two lenses, clear and dark, but I wouldn't hate some yellows as well. If you've recently upgraded and the old ones are still in decent shape, let me know. E-mail dbfitzgerald@yahoo.com or PM me.

I bought some Smith Threshold glasses on Steep and Cheap. I've only worn 'em cycling a couple times, but I seem to like them pretty well. They come with 3 lens pairs. Dark, amber, and nearly clear. I just noticed today that Campmor sells the same glasses for almost the same cheap price, except that the frames are in white. Here's the link. They're about $40:

I've had several pairs of Performance glasses. Some I've liked, some I haven't. The last pair of Performance glasses I got, I don't like because they have a really thick frame on the top that obscures my vision while I'm riding.
Many glasses don't work for me because I have long, straight eyelashes, and I'm always brushing against them. It smudges the lenses and bugs the heck out of me. The Threshold glasses work pretty well in all ways for me. Not perfect, but I like them pretty well.

Heck - you can HAVE mine, if you can find them. Smith Sequel II's, with yellow lenses. Head out west to the GWNF, in the vicinity of Woodstock/Edinburg VA. They came off the top off my head somewhere between the trailhead near where Judge Rye Road crosses the WV border (http://tinyurl.com/2h9dpe) and the top of the hill.
Grids? Those puppies are in the woods somewhere between 38deg54'21"N 78deg42'59"W and 38deg54'34"N 78deg42'37"W. They have been there almost a week.
