View Full Version : Loot List for Westminster Swap Meet, Feb. 4

Here is my list. Everything is priced low to sell, but these prices are for pick-up only at the Swap Meet on February 4 (or pick up in Alexandria if you see something you absolutely need now). Anything that doesn't sell at the swap-o-rama will be re-listed after Feb. 4 with a new price that will include shipping.

(Description and prices subject to change as I finish sorting and labeling this stuff.)

EDIT 1/28/2007 - I'll post a revised list after the swap meet on 2/4. Thanks for everyone's interest, you have really lightened the load I'll be carrying to Westminster! If we have a deal in progress, I'll make sure you get your stuff asap.

The XT M760 crankset is the new outboard bearing model correct? If so and it comes with the bottom bracket, I'll take it.

I'd like to look them over, but I'll probably take the Arkel Panniers off your hands as well.

If you had posted this a few weeks ago I'd probably take a few more things off your hands. In the last month I just bought a set of the Nitto bars and a new set of canti's. Oh well.

I'm not sure if I'll make the swap this year (probably but not definate) so maybe we could try to meet up before than?

mscard - Crap-ola! It figures the first person to reply would catch an error! The cranks are the FC-M752, that use the splined BB. Very sorry about that! PM me and we'll talk about the Arkels.

All - If anyone is interested in something, PM me and I will confirm details and conditions and price. I did the list late last night and there are a few buggy details that I need to work out. I'd say the list is 97% accurate. That is one reason I want to do this in person at the swap, to allow inspection.

Ha ha! Yep, the kayak may take up a little room. ;) I'm actually shocked at the amount of interested people wanting to pick stuff up. A lot of this stuiff will be gone.

I'll update the list this afternoon.

Hey, Markie.

Sorry, but I'm looking for cash and pick-up only for now. Anything that doesn't sell at the Swap will be available by mail after 2/4. It is just too much stuff to mail out piece by piece and the prices don't justify the Paypal percentage bite.

I'm interested in the cranks, front and rear ders. What kind of condition are the ders in? I might even be interested in the shifters as well.

Punga -

Sorry for the delay, I was waiting to see what the status of the XT bits was before responding. The front derailleur is spoken for, but the remainder is available.

Everything is in very good shape. These were on my Yeti ASR that never fit me. I rode it very sporadically (maybe 6 serious rides?) for one summer before selling the frame and going 29er.

I know someone whose been trying to rid hisself off a set of Cook Brothers Racing purplish ano cranks with rings and rasta-style ano chainring bolts. Condition: Not too hot, like you can barely see the words Cook Brothers Racing 'scratched' into the ano (the wacky font CBR used), but past the rub marks, the cranks are in tip-top shape.

how much you wanna give?

Hey, Blur. Thanks for the note. I should have been more specific, but I am going to pass on the purple cranks! Not that I am a hung up fashion-ista or anything, but I'm looking for basic black or silver. My primary motivation is that I am SICK and TIRED of ISIS and XT and other splined BBs. I am going back to a Phil Wood square taper BB and old school crankset, probably a Middleburn with an XTR spider.

Tell your buddy to throw it on Ebay or post to the retro board on MTBR. There are lots of people that would actually pay real money for the purple and rasta combo!

I just bought a road bike this weekend for training and my bike budget has been impinged upon. :)

I'm still in for the rear derailleur, but that's it. I was mainly loading up on on spare parts as I'm prone to breaking things.

When can we meet up for the derailleur? I'm gonna try to make it out Thur. nite to Wakefield if the trails aren't trashed and I'm over this cold (pretty low probability for both, if not maybe over the weekend?). Where do you live?

I still have a few outstanding PMs and e-mails to respond to on this list, so hang in there y'all.

The big idiot that I am, I cross posted this to another bike forum. I have multiple inquiries on the same items, so I'm trying to resolve the questions on a first-in, first-out basis. I'll be in touch soon.

I'll be posting my amended list later this evening, but I thought I'd mention what a blast the bike swap was on Sunday. TrailVictim and I cleaned up! I wasn't asking top dollar, and I still walked away with a big wad of dough. I won't have enough parts to justify a single table next year, but I may organize a MORE community table if anyone wants to go in.

Punga - I still have an XT derailleur for you, if you want it.

Dan - I have the Phil Wood BB for you.

Thanks all!

You know you'll have plenty to sell by this time next year. :D I just added a few items to my parts bin over the last 24hrs so I'm off to a good start.

I gave mama a few bills when I got home and she gave it back. It was just taking up space in my pocket so I picked up a new crank and some Titec H-Bars for my commuter.

Awesome, I put my $$$ straight in the bank. Of course it won't sit there long, I'm already looking at the White Industries Double-Double set up and a new ENO wheelset for the IF. :D

Ahh, I am a sick man! Apparently I will have enough spare parts for the swap next year.

Did you sell the Brooks Pro at Westminster? I was looking for you/it but only found 1 brooks pro NOS. I believe yours was used. I figured you would have a huge MORE poster but didn't see it either. Then again it was a zoo. Charlie

Hey, Charlie. I did sell it. That saddle got more interest than anything else on my half of the table. I was getting offers before the show even started from other dealers. We were low profile with no MORE signs or anything. Maybe next year if we get a "community" table together. Sorry we missed you out there, it was nuts!
