My friend's rear wheel got stolen and she needs a new one. It's your standard 26" mountain bike wheel with a 7 speed cassette (cheap Shimano derailleur, so I assume the same for the cassette). No great quality is needed, just a functional wheel with all parts. E-mail me at dbfitzgerald@yahoo.com if you have something like that you're looking to get rid of.

I have just the wheel for her. I'm about to order a new wheelset for my street, no city, no townie, no road, no urban, no commuter, no general purpose, no.. my non-off-road-specific bike... as soon as I get the set, I'll swap off the wheel in question and she can have it, 7spd cassette included.
Unless of course she needs it super quick-like.. in which case she can still have it, but it might be next wknd (realistically) before you and i can meet...
edyt: hey, didn't tim need a front at one pt?? still have it..

Just to let you know, I deleted your dupe thread for you. Hope you don't mind.
I know I have an old wheelset (stock wheels from my first mountainbike). The rear wheel is out of true, but I can retrue it easily enough. I'll take a look tomorrow and see what kind of shape it is in.

J: could you check on your wheels per my email..? Fitz: looks like you're covered... maybe you could keep your eyes open for a low-end 24" rear-- I need one for a kid's bike, 6spd.
