Anne M will be leading a RLAG ride at Fountainhead on Sunday, January 28.

Start time will be 10 am at the park entrance gate. This will be a casual ride on the fun rooty trails at Fountainhead. We will stop at some of the more difficult areas and go over skills. We will plan to ride one loop and see if we have time for another. This will be a great ride for anyone who has never ridden Fountainhead or for anyone wanting to work on skills.

Please let us know if you're coming!

I plan on being there, assuming conditions are good. It was too muddy there on the 15th.

So, you can finally finish the ride that we started the last time we were at FH. Try the Teter-totters for me! :D

Have fun!

Hopefully the trails will be dry on Sunday. I am going to go check them out on Saturday to make sure they are ridable. I will post on the forum if I need to cancel. The park has not been closing the trails even when they should be...so even if the trails are open I may need to cancel the ride.

looking forward to a great ride!

Okay ladies, this ride is for Jojo!

Jo - you'll be back on the bike just in time to start your training for SSWC07! :D

A few of us discovered this last weekend - people were out there tearing it up. We quit after 30 feet.

I'm in if the weather and trails look good. :)

Okay, the ride is on for tomorrow. I am hoping the cold night will refreeze the trails. However, if we start to ride tomorrow and the trails look bad we will not continue on the trails. We will either do skill work in the parking lot area or we we will do a mountain bike road ride- its a great workout;-)

looking forward to it.

Looking at the weather forecast, it's not supposed to get below 35*. And reading the updates for Fountainhead under the Trail Conditions section, it doesn't sound good. :(

Unless it changes and gets really cold tonight, I probably won't head down. A few of us from MD may go the other direction and ride the Watershed.

I'm sorry I can't be out there with you all tomorrow... couldn't reschedule my shift. I know that Anne will make the right decision about the trails, and that the ride will be fun regardless of where you end up riding. And as Sue Haywood says, riding fat tires on the road is excellent conditioning work!

Have fun! Liz

I think I'm of the same mind as Cathie. I'd really like to go but I'll see in the morning, but may head elsewhere if it still sounds like the trails in bad shape. *crossing fingers* :)

I'm out too. We're headed to the Frederick Watershed instead. Hope to see you all at the next ride!

Yep, the ride is cancelled. It is raining and never got cold enough :( I would love to do the watershed. What time are you all riding?

I agree it was a great ride- thanks for leading! And thanks for showing me the new way home- I think it is a lot quicker- Although, I almost lost my bike going through the drive thru coffee place;-) If my seatpost had been a 1/2 inch higher I would have lost my Damselfy  Oops.
