Sheesssh.Ya never know, Tommy. Some day, scrawny little Joe will find a deal for something XL that he'd never be able to use, and he's gonna pass it on to us, and we're gonna appreciate his kindness.
Besides, while I admire JoeP's excellent riding skills, and his low key friendliness, he's got nothing on your rugged, lumberjack good looks! :D

How am I suppose to be sarcastic and nasty with remarks like that.
It just makes me think about all the sites I go on and they show their clearance items. They're always small or medium. Just once I'd like to see a xxL on clearance.
I'm just envious of Joe. :D
If I ever want anything wool I'll be dropping some ka-ching on it.

I feel your pain. Imagine how hard it is for me to find stuff to fit! Tall AND broad of beam. The size of a man, but shaped like a woman. Sigh......

Yeah, Steep and Cheap kills it! Me and my friends have purchased a bunch of stuff from the site at killer prices. I have it set as my homepage and you can download a little application that tells you when something new goes up. You might also want to check out http://www.sacattack.com/ it tells you how much of an item is left, what items were up and what not.

I just can't vision myself in this color. :(Actually, it's perfect for me. Except, I'm not sure that the color it comes in is the color it's shown in. It's Shiraz/Yam. Shiraz is good. Yam is "ugh." <Shiraz is good. Yams are sort of edible, but that's another story. On the other hand, it's a GREAT deal. But the XXLs disappeared while I was posting. Sorry, Tommy... :( >

The jackie came out sort of maroon with orange trim. It's OK. Nothing special. But it fits well (a little short for me), but will probably be quite useful. I'm bummed that it didn't come with a bottle of Shiraz and a yam in the pocket.

The Limar 911 Bike Helmet gives you unrivaled protection and comfort for long days on the saddle. When you're on the slick rock or riding under the midday sun, this performance mountain bike helmet keeps you cool with its mind-boggling 37 vents—the lower of which have an oversized design to kick up airflow. A combination of In-Mold construction and an invisible, internal reinforcement frame makes the Limar 911 one of the safest helmets out there. It actually meets and exceeds three of the world's toughest safety requirements—a feat few other bike helmet companies can match. The Pro System 2 size system gives you on-the-fly comfort adjustability, while Limar's Cool Comfort silver padding absorbs sweat to keep your head dry.

Description:
If you've been following le Tour, you'll know who's wearing the Yellow Jersey—Team CSC rider Fabian Cancellara. (Dammit, we probably just jinxed him.) When he isn't wearing yellow, Cancellara (and his world-renowned team) trusts Descente to provide the best in performance and comfort. The Velom Jacket is what Fabian and the rest of Team CSC wear when they're racing and training in cool weather. Descente used Swiss nanotechnology to create the high-density, micro-denier Velom fabric, which absorbs moisture and moves it to the outside where it can evaporate. Velom is also extremely breathable, lightweight, and resists wind and water, so ride on in unpredictable weather. This jacket meets all the demands of Team CSC, so we think you'll love it when you're pedaling in cooler conditions.

Pearl Izumi Vagabond M3 Cycling Shoe - Men's
You don't have to pay in limbs to own an award-winning mountain bike shoe.
$34.54
Description:
Editors know what they're talking about—which is how you know the Pearl Izumi Vagabond M3 Cycling Shoe is worth a damn. This clipless-compatible mountain biking shoe won the 2005 Editor's Choice Award from Bicycling Magazine, and for good reason. The Vagabond M3 features a three-strap hook-and-loop closure system and a floating canopy, so it fits a variety of foot shapes comfortably. Its lightweight and rigid nylon I-Beam sole creates awesome power transfer (much better than your flat-soled shoes). Mesh uppers keep you feet feeling fresh while you pedal up some gnarly singletrack, and aggressive, grippy tread grabs trail when you can't pedal. Pearl Izumi gave these mountain bike shoes EVA comfort footbeds for cushion and support and 360-degree reflective inserts for nighttime visibility.

Over the last 50+ years, Ugo De Rosa and his sons have become the defining artisans of the cycling world, creating some of the most refined, beautiful, and meticulously engineered cycles to ever hit the road. The world's elite teams and most successful professionals know what it's like to ride a De Rosa—perfection. Now you can experience the same: the De Rosa King X-Light Frame with Fork, Headset, and Seat Post. The King X-Light is simply a masterpiece. The De Rosa team and Ugo De Rosa (who still oversees every step of construction) hand-crafted the King X-Light in a dust-free, climate-controlled laboratory in the Milan factory, where they could create a carbon fiber monocoque frame with the right balance of mechanical strength and elasticity. The result: a beautiful machine born to race. Few people get the opportunity to ever see a De Rosa. Fewer still get the chance to ride one. This is your chance. Don't take our word for it, check out what Pez Cycling News has to say. http://www.pezcyclingnews.com/default.asp?pg=fullstory&id=3150 NOTE: the 52cm is a King Formula Slope Frame, which has an extended seat tube and is equivalent in size to a 56cm regular frame.

I may have to second this. I have bought a nifty watch, super nice poly underwear and road tires form S & C. Between this and her banana guards I am depleting my new road bike fund.
It is amazing how quickly the deals go away and also how they sometimes come back again later in the day. Makes me suspect the length of time they are offered is not fully tied to the amount of product left.
