The Wakefield Night Riding Policy allows us to night ride at Wakefield Park on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Here's a snip from the MORE letter explaining the policy.
"Night riding is only allowed on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights only
All riders must be off the trails by 10:30pm
All participant cars must be off park property by 11:00pm
In order for this program to go forward, the park is requiring that there be at least two riders designated each evening as trail monitors. Trail monitors do not need to lead rides, are not there for enforcement purposes, and do not have to be MORE members. Trail monitors will simply be required to provide some basic information to the park on trail usage, and report any unusual incidents or accidents. Riders may ride in organized groups or individually, just as currently allowed. Monitor riding of closed trails at Wakefield on Wed, Fri-Sun evenings, will be scheduled in advance by Park authorities. Monitors are not allowed to night ride Wakefield on Wed, Fri-Sunday, except for specifically scheduled monitoring purposes." Monitors will be given park ID’s and instructions on how to report activity to the park."
Let me know if there are any questions, if you wanna become a trail monitor or you can figure out some way of getting JoeP to submit his trail Monitor reports.

Thx for clearing that up for me Larry. I assume this means that I can come down and ride solo (if it so happens) during those times?? Aka: i don't have to be part of an official group ride per se..?

You can always send them to the larry@more-mtb.org. I have that address forwarding to my work address.
I collect the reports and forward them to Tom at Wakefield

You should become a trail monitor. They give you a badge. Chicks dig badges; they'll overlook your crappy GT if you have a badge. That's how I get my play :D
Just be sure to send Larry his TM reports - not to be confused with TPS reports. TM coversheets not required :D

(aka make up your mind dude.. is he gonna sh1t or is he gon' kill us?-- TDN just for you!)Dad gum! I clicked the button in my control panel so my signature wouldn't show. I didn't bother to erase it, figuring when I invented a new signature line, I would do it then. When I posted I didn't see the sig, so no problem, right????
But then you posted thusly. I logged out as SG, and that old signature DID show! How'd that happen? Plus! I couldn't find the place in the control panel where I had the option to turn it off.
Sigh. So now I have a new signature, until I think of something vaguely more clever. Sigh.
