Jeff, this was one of the best rides i've done. fast dh outta the lot with moguls, technical singletrack, tight/twisty single under pines and over boulders, a mega-monster gravel road climb, another sick, arse-rubbing-rear-tire downhill, SUPER fast flowing double wide and lastly.. my priceless 4 foot air (OFF THE BIKE into a tree  ).. guess i really am a treehugger after all.
Thx again, yo.. 4 hours of Michaux = big fun.

What a great day, I'm still giving thanks for checking the PA website last night, not a hunter in sight. Watching you play 'Rocki the flying Squirrel' four full feet off the ground an into that tree on the easy schaffer farm section was truly entertaining so glad you're alright. Big thanks for driving up & riding
Not really sure where we road, red trail, orange trail, easy schaffer farm section, sorry I'm not more helpful, don't really know the area that well. (see signature)

Yea, it was our own private forrest!! don't let him fool you.. he plays dumb.. then he gets out there and pretty much knew exactly where he was goin. I remember orange blazes and red blazes. we did one real nice long shuttle run that took us, oh, probably almost 2hrs or more. then he said, "now this other section is more like schaeffer farms"-- so of course i'm thinking tightly packed fast single.. so we humped what felt like4 miles straight up a gravel road to the very top of some mountain and he takes me down this sickarse free-ride type trail.. of course, all loose leaves and rocks and boulders and as$ rubbing rear wheel... then I lost control, going pretty slowly, over a very tech very steep down and was practically ejected from my bike over a boulder (thankfully) and into a tree. Kinda reminds me of Arlo Guthrie "thankfully I didn't slam into the mountain... I went over the cliff." Yea.. just like Schaeffer.. :eyeroll: and worth every effing minute of it!!! surprised more MORE rides don't happen there, seein as it's only 50 min from Freakerick.
Toe Clips will rue this day! Too bad he was getting his hair done.

Glad to see others enjoying MIchaux. There's some great riding there.
And it's not so far from Gambril... maybe 20-30 minutes further. I make a run up there Thursdays from Rockville in about 1:15-45 minutes depending on which section I'm going to.
Regards,
Dave
