where to ride tommorrow??

I had big plans to ride schaeffer farms tommorrow 11/24 but i think it might not be such a good idea duie to the rain the past days. I am here visiting my sister and would love to find somewhere to ride for tommorow. im staying in Rockville so I am looking for something relatively close
( within an hr drive) somewhere i can ride I guess with good drainage .

any suggestions will be welcomed. I appreciate it .. thanks

Come ride some of the best trails in the mid Atlantic. Rocks, rocks and more rocks. Casual ride with no drops. 8 miles with an option for more.

I was reading about Gambrill.. I would love to join you all but my wife will be with me and she hasnt been on a mountain bike for a few years now... I read that gambrill is more of an advanced technical place.... I dont want her to feel out of her element.. what do you think

Between a few of the hills, and the rocks, I think it would be better for her to start somewhere else. Gambrill is very doable for experienced beginners and intermediate riders, but might prove more frustrating for somene who has been off the bike for a while. Particularly if she isn't into rocks. Gambrill is pretty much all rocks, and some roots for good measure. Great trail, very challenging, lots of fun to ride. I recommend it once she gets a little more saddle time.
