MORE Upper Rock Creek Trail Liaison

This Saturday November 11th is trailwork at Rosaryville.

Come on out and help us build NEW trail, yes NEW trail. To entice you and us, we will be hosting a picnic at Pavillon #1 after trailwork, or maybe earlier.

Why come out?
1. New trail is being built - A lot of trail clearing was done by MORE volunteers at the last trailwork and MDNR with IMBA trainers since then.

2. There is active interest on the part of trail liaisons and other trail leaders to build technical challenges on new trails and you can help build them.

3. A greater number of trailworkers may have some influence in opening up the park to more trails, increased niteriding opportunities, etc...

4. There are enough McLeods, Pulaskis, lopers, and saws for everyone.

5. They will let anybody use a chainsaw.

6. You can lop branches to your heart’s content.

7. The Marchysyn brothers have been known to argue while holding chainsaws.

8. It is the last "official" Rosaryville trailwork, let’s celebrate a good year of work.

PICNIC LOGISTICS:

WE SUPPLY:
Cost: $5 per person for us to buy hamburgers, hotdogs, bread and condiments. (We will get stuff for vegetarians, vegans, macrobiotics – just let me know what and that you will attend.)

YOU BRING: A side dish or dessert and your own hydration product.

Please PM or email (eric_blomquist@hotmail.com) me to RSVP. I need a headcount so there is enough grub to go around.
