Anybody want one of these? Have you heard anything about them? It's SRAM's answer to the fox 36 chasis. Anybody have any thoughts to share? I just spent a full day on one but was curious about the groundswell, if any, for this.
Thanks.

this is Natureboi replying
as i amin virginia this weekend
i am buying a mongoose douple or triple next year and replacing the fork with the lyric. I currently ride a Revelation and want a bigger travel bike to go to the resorts with the downhiller freeride crowds in colorado. IE vail and KEystone and the like.
After experienceing the best 130mm of travel for a rockshox, i am conviced the new updated motion control system( at this time the Lyric's damping system escapes my memory - I've had a dogfish head 120 minute Imperial IPA and am Working on a Stoner Tenth anniversary ale as i type this - ) will be even more adjustable and the shizznittle system to have.
with Roch Shox level of performance and customer supprort ( two year warranty on all forks and instant customer acknowledgment and response) i wouldn't hesitate to give it a whirl if its in your price range. IF in doubt, cal sram and ask for Rich and tell him Robb in bouldre told you to call and talk to him about the rockshox lineup.

natureboi You might want to go for a totem or domain for your blackdiamond seeing as the bike is designed around that travel fork. I believe the 66 on the black diamond triple has travel adjust so you might want to keep that fork on it. I wouldnt reccomend the lyric for anything besides light freeride and seeing as you are getting a beefy bike with 7.5 inches of rear travel i dont think that light feeride is your priority.
The new motion controll is mission control. It seems awsome and super adjustable. Finally i need to say that i am very impressed with mongooses 06 and 07 bike line and it seems like they are finally making a comeback. Their ec-d is an amazing dh bike and i want one :p

Lyric is 160mm which is great for a trail bike and fine for most freeride stuff (just not the 10 footers) on bikes like the Enduro. The Totem is what I probably get for the new Diablo but that bike isn't a 'for sure' yet for 07...

Yea the lyric should handel pretty gnarly terrain but if your mostly shuttling then you will probably want one of the beefyer forks. I do love rockshox this year. The totem, lyric, boxxer wc, and reba all are killer.

It seemed to shuttle just fine all day last Wed so maybe it's ok, eh?
Just got word that I'll have the new Jamis Diablo 2.0 in my hot hands on Friday. Heh. Time to strap on the plastic and hit the 'shed...
