There is a dual slalom race and DJ contest this weekend in Hereford MD. Details can be found here:

I went out Saturday and rode the course and it's a lot of fun. The DJ comp is invite only and there are some big name riders competing. I was told that our local boy Jim Dechamp will be there as well as Aaron Chase, Kyle Ebbit, and Jeff Lenosky and others. It should be a great exhibition of skills.

The actual Hereford Fall Festival sounds pretty cool too.
8th annual Hereford Fall Festival is Oct. 21, 22
The eighth annual Hereford Fall Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Oct. 21 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 22. The festival is held at the field on Mt. Carmel Road, between the Hereford Shopping Center and York Road.
The event includes wine tasting, live music, food, children's games and activities, hayrides, helicopter rides, monster truck rides and a Moon Bounce. An outdoor movie will be shown Saturday night.
Various vendors will sell crafts and other goods, and many North County community groups will have information booths set up.
Six tickets at $10 apiece are for wine-drinkers. Tickets for those not tasting wine will be $5.
Hereford is about 12 miles north of Baltimore off I-83 on Mt. Carmel Road.
