Anyone interested in doing a ride at Avalon sunday. Moderate paced (I am getting over from being sick so I cannot guarantee pace) As for length, as far as you want to go. Time, in the morning before noon. Let me know, I am open for about anything. Place, Landing rd.

I might be able to rock that. You guys set on riding from I95 side? I thought it was posted for Landing Rd. If that's the case, I'd park at Rockburn Branch Park with the heated bathrooms (that's right, heated).

Let me check stuff out but I can probably do that. Single if the stumpy is out of commission.

I'll be parking at Rockburn Branch (actually in the park) so as to avoid the hazards of high-speed landing rd. Are you guys parking at the Cascade end of landing or the Rockburn end?

I'll be on the bike, ready to ride at 9:30.

I'll be there at 9:30. Can someone post directions? I don't know that side of the park.

Take 95n to 100 east then rte 1 north then make left onto Montgomery rd then make a right onto Landing rd (not old Landing Rd) go to the second pull off. Look for a Green Jeep Cherokee. See you there.

You can Google map Rockburn Branch Park, Maryland. That will get you close

I'm getting so tired of this crap.
Everytime theres a ride that I wanna go on something always comes up.

I gotta drive the wife in town tomowrow early afternoon cause she's too much of of chicken to drive into D.C. Looks like its another early ride for me at the Rose. Whoop-de-doo, Rosaryville again. (Can ya feel the sarcasm?)

Ditto the directions to Landing Rd, but just make a left into Rockburn Branch proper and park at the top of the hill, by the office and bathrooms. Red Subaru with a bike...

See y'all then. I would advise moving the meeting place here instead of the 'pull off' down at the head of Cascade, but whatever.

10/14/06 >> FYI...The Redskins play at home on Sunday...1:00pm game time...traffic will be hellacious before and after the game. I'd stay away from D.C. and 495 near the stadium if I were you.. ;)...of course there's nothing like quality time with the wife while sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. ;)

I'm going 395 to Maine St to Rock Creek Pkway.

Does anybody know what kind of restrictions are on Rock Creek on weekends?

I use to drive it during the week and I remember some kind of restrictions that go into effect during certain times. I don't remember exactly though.

Hope everbody had fun.
