I'm kinda not feeling well, so does anyone want to lead tonight's ride for me?

Since no one wants to lead, I guess I'll drag my tired legs out to see if anyone wants to ride. Pace will be super-casual.

Didn't get a day off today to ride? I'm still leading the Wakefield ride tonight and I'm bringing the cross bike. Anyone want to do the same? No cross bike, no problem. Unicycles welcome (or even regular MTBs).

Good to know. I may apply for the pass. It would be nice to start a Monday night ride with you all (And watch as you all vanish into the dark).

By any chance - Would you happen to know if there was a ride last Monday, and if so, was there an electronic record made that documented that ride?

The light is on charge and I'm riding tonight.

Is anybody else planning on riding at Wakefield tonight?

Wife and I will be there around 7. She wants to check out the Monster race course.

I'm thinking about heading over after work to meet halfinch. Looks like the rain really is coming tomorrow... Hopefully I can get in a couple of laps before my light dies.

Yo. Thanks to the six people who followed me around Wakefield last night while I tried to find my way around in the dark with my crappy light. At one point in the ride I was totally disoriented for about 5 minutes and had no idea where we were or which direction we were heading. I thought, surely one of these things (http://www.keiththompsonart.com/pages/tikbalang.html) had got a hold of me, then I realized it was probably just Cowtilly giving me bad directions!

DANG - Between you and "The evil one of Higher Education", I'm getting slammed this morning.

Except for that previously mentioned turn-around and Joe crying because he was lost, it was a fun ride last night and I’m glad Monday’s are fitting into my schedule. I got to chase J-P around Wakefield at near full throttle while watching him Skid through or completely missing turns. Of course I had gears (Although my fancy twist shifter never saw anything below the number 6) and Joe was being some what nice. I suspect he could have dropped me at any time in Phase I or Phase II.

I have to admit (with my head lowered in shame) that my Thursday rides are not that fast.

Well, for better or for worse, I'm in for the ride tonight.

Between what the Trail maintenance on Saturday did to my foot and the road ride yesterday - I need somebody slower than me to show up for the ride. This way I can yell up to Joe,

" "X" needs a break, why don't we stop for "X" so they can catch THEIR breath".

L

PS (If I'm stinking up the trail worse than usual I'll just roll off)

PSS ((Roll - Off - Get it??))

No worries Larry, I have my cross bike on the car right now. I took it out on the Burke Lake singletrack yesterday and the results were quite embarassing. The only one suffering on tonight's ride will be myself. :o

LIAR - You rode like the wind......

And as promised I stunk up the trail. Falling off on the hills, taking turns wide, not letting Stoner pass. Heck - It was me who willed his light to fail.

And my reward for such evilness - The hat fairy left the gayest (Not that there is anything wrong with that), baby blue double tassle hat in the back of my truck.

DOH!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!! I suppose you're holding the hat as ransom for a Trail Monitor report? Ok you win. I'll send it in the morning.

I'm out of town so I won't be able to lead tomorrow's (10/30) ride. Unless someone wants to step in, I'll have to cancel it.

I was actually thinking of skipping tonight. I had a 3 hour ride yesterday and after checking the ole Camel Back it appears that I consumed a total of about 10 ounces of fluid. (And I'm paying for it today).

HOWEVER, because I'm such "NICE GUY" I will volunteer to be there. I will even lead a group on an intermediate ride. If Jason or others wanna do the full tilt ride - I volunteer to be the trail monitor on duty.

After all, this about maintaining our nationally recognized Night Riding Program. It's no longer about me or about Joe, it's "The Program" that matters!!

:p :p :p

((Let me know if anyone is gonna show tonight))

PS Remember "NICE GUYS" finish last

If you rode at Wakefield today, go out and check your Bike. If it's missing something other than it's MOJO, I may have it.
