This Saturday Ride Like a Girl will be riding Seneca Greenway in Montgomery County. We've had a series of intermediate-level rides lately, so this one is going to be beginner-friendly. In fact, if there is enough interest, I will lead a group of JUST beginners. There will be another casual-pace group. If any of you are interested in a moderate pace group and would like to lead it, please let me know!

And please RSVP if you are interested in a beginner group!!!

Seneca Greenway is a cross-country, natural-surface trail that runs from Damascus to the Potomac River. Bikes are allowed only from Rt. 355 to Damascus. It's rolling single-track, with a couple of places that most people walk (carefully!). There are some climbs and descents, but nothing very technical. The Specifics

Date and Time: Saturday, September 30, 10 am

Location: Seneca Greenway. Meet at the parking lot at Rt 355.

Directions From the Beltway:
270 North to exit 11
Merge onto MD-124 East/Montgomery Village Ave
Turn LEFT onto MD-355 North
Turn RIGHT into park at entrance sign a bit more than a mile up the road
What to Bring: All riders MUST wear a helmet (no lid, no ride), bring water, and have a trail-ready bike. Riders should also carry the usual basics: spare tube(s), a pump, tire levers, a chain tool, and basic allen wrenches.

Our next ride is Avalon on October 7th. I need leaders (I'm going to be on a 4-day bike trip). Interested in leading? Let me know!
