Raceface taperlock BB rebuild

Has anyone replaced the bearings on their RF Taperlock BB? Wondering if I really have to get the service tool kit from Raceface (I'm not even sure if they're still selling it) to remove the bearings or will a vise and mallet do? :)

You can get square taper bottom brackets for so cheap now I don't see why you'd want to replace the bearings. Unless it's something swanky like a titanium spindle.
