I bought a new set of Shimano PD-M540 pedals and the adjustable side of the left clip, somehow (probably my own stupid fault) a screw fell out and the whole clip fell apart and becuase the screw was holding in springs and things that had to be in the EXACT correct place I haven't been able to fix it, depsite hours of trying. Should my LBS be able to take care of this for me or is it going to have to go to Shimano? I admit my ignorance in the clippless department.

I would give your lbs a shot. I remember doing it to a similar SPD type of pedal and I was able to screw it back in.

I have a set of 540s. I can look at my pedals to see where each part goes if you'd like. But otherwise, it should be pretty easy for the LBS to handle.

Thanks alot, I'm going to give it another shot today with the rain, and if i cant get it I'm just going to the LBS, the thing frustrates the crap out of me if I sit with it too long.
